New Feature : Import your disavow file
We’ve been listening to your requests closely and the #1 request has been the ability to upload your disavow file, I’m really pleased to say that as of this morning, that feature is now live!
You should now see an “Upload disavow list” button within your profiles. Clicking that will allow you to upload the same disavow file that you uploaded to Google (.txt file).
NB If you already have a disavow lodged with Google you can download that as a csv from them and we will accept that also 🙂
Once your profile is complete.…you can upload the file.
Once uploaded our system will parse the file and if it is in the correct format for Google we will process the file.
This should mean that uploading to us will also help verify that the file is correct for Google too.
The uploaded file will be parsed and reset all the disavowed domains to a LinkRisk score of 500 (neutral)
One thing to note when using this feature, because we want to make sure that we separate the work you are doing to add items to lists within LinkRisk from the file submitted to Google: –
You MUST upload a disavow file to reset the score on links, just adding them to your disavow list won’t change the score.
We hope this helps you concentrate on getting the number of links you need to remove down to an even smaller number!
