Filter by Link Location with LinkRisk

This week we are ticking off the next most requested feature  on our list, although this one has taken a lot longer to research and develop but it’s finally in a stage where we are happy to let people use it.

We’ve been developing within Audit some ways of working out exactly where on the page a link is; footer? content? advertisement? sidebar? So we’ve been testing this for a few months on around 100 profiles. It’s important to note that this feature is not finished! It’s a work in progress and because of the wild west nature of the internet it will never be 100% accurate, but this was top of our list of feature requests (we do listen!) and we felt that even in this late stage of testing, it can add value to your Link Auditing.

The Report works like any other;

link-location-1

You can see the new Link Location section added to the reports.

link-location-2-2

Once inserted we can see the donut is filled with our filterable options of where we’ve discovered links.

This report will automatically be generated when your profile next rescans (or you can rescan now in the profile control panel).

We’d love your feedback on this feature and any section types you think we may have missed.
